John Anderson graduated from Plainfield High School in 1968. Following that he was a member of the United States Marine Corps becoming a Vietnam veteran, started a Sales and Distribution business in 1980, started and added a manufacturing business in 1983, built a facility in Plainfield in 1991, moved the business from Indianapolis to Plainfield in 1992, and added another manufacturing business to the group in 1993. The three businesses were consolidated in 1999.
Between his wife of 20 years, Debbie, and he, they have four sons (2 each) and grandchildren. John is a founding member and former Board Member of the White Lick Heritage Community Foundation (which became the Hendricks County Community Foundation), a founding member and former Board Member of "Strides to Success" here in Plainfield, and a former member of Ministry and Council of Center Community Church in Plainfield.
