Items accepted include just about everything except:

Residents may bring furniture to Heavy Trash Day; however, those who bring mattresses will have to dump the mattresses into the dumpster on their own. For sanitary reasons, DPW staff will not handle such items. Residents should remove gas and oil from mowers and leaf blowers.
Items containing Freon like refrigerators and freezers; computers, monitors, and televisions will not be accepted, but may be taken to Hendricks County Tox-Away Days. Ray’s Document Destruction will be back. The shredder will be set up in the parking lot at the Plainfield Community Middle School, near the football field. Sensitive documents residents would like to have shredded can be dropped off at the Ray’s truck. It will be available all Saturdays during the same hours.
