Over the last several months, the Town of Plainfield and its hired consultant, CMT, have continued with a study to review potential alignment options of a future roadway that would introduce a new interchange along I-70 and provide an alternative route to US 40.

The Plainfield Corridor Study is a transportation study which provides community leaders with guidance that may influence the planning for a future I-70 to US 40 road connector corridor. It is a guiding document which establishes recommendations regarding the development of a safe, efficient and balanced connector corridor.
