Hello, my name is Teresa McKinney. I am a Staff Accountant and Office Supervisor for the Clerk Treasurer's office. I have been with the Town of Plainfield since December of 2008. Some of my responsibilities include processing payroll, creating purchase orders, bank reconciliations, processing payment requests for State and Federal Grants, bond payment processing and analysis of monthly statements and monitoring general and enterprise fund budgets. As Office Supervisor, I assist the Clerk Treasurer in establishing procedures, practices and work methods that will increase work unit effectiveness and efficiency.
I obtained a Certificate of Accounting in 1985 and have been working in the accounting field for more than 25 years. I moved to Indiana in 1996 after my husband retired from the Air Force. I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, event planning, and interior decorating.
