Q: Will the Plainfield Police Department watch over my home while I'm on vacation?

A: Any time that you will be away from home for an extended period, come to the police headquarters before leaving and fill out a vacation home check form. Officers will make periodic inspections of the home while your away, plus we’ll have information on who to contact in case there is a problem. As soon as you return, call the Communications Center to be removed from the list.
