RESOLUTION CONFIRMING INTEREST BY THE TOWN IN THE PURCHASE OF
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield, Indiana, is interested in purchasing certain easement rights crossing five parcels of real estate in the Town of Plainfield, Hendricks County, Guilford Township, Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield, Indiana in accordance with I.C. §36-1-10.5-5 as follows:
1. The Town Council hereby confirms that it is interested in the purchase of drainage and utility easements crossing portions of five parcels within the South Hills area, for use by the Town of Plainfield for public drainage and utility purposes; said parcels being identified as follows:
1753 Esther Ct., Lot 57, Plainfield, Indiana,
1750 Esther Ct., Lot 56, Plainfield, Indiana,
1751 Ramsey Lane, Lot 40, Plainfield, Indiana,
1755 Ramsey Lane, Lot 39, Plainfield, Indiana,
1759 Ramsey Lane, Lot 38, Plainfield, Indiana,
and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2. The Town Council, as purchasing agent, hereby appoints Mark Keutzer and Gary Raasch to appraise the described drainage and utility easements to determine the fair market value of such easement rights.
3. The appraisal authorized and provided for herein shall be returned to the Town of Plainfield within thirty (30) days after the date that this Resolution is passed and adopted by the Town Council.
