Resolution to Transfer Funds to the Rainy Day Fund
Whereas, the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield, Hendricks County finds that the purposes of the General Fund (101) has been fulfilled; and,
Whereas, there is remaining in the above mentioned fund an unused and unencumbered balance:
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Plainfield, Hendricks County, does hereby transfer One Million, Two Hundred, Forty-seven Thousand, dollars, ($1,247,000.00) from the General Fund (101) to the Rainy Day Fund (105) for the specific purpose of placing this amount in reserve for future purposes yet to be determined by the Plainfield Town Council.
This fund shall be subject to the same appropriation process as other funds that receive tax money; and, is subject to the ordinance which first established the Rainy Day Fund (105).
ADOPTED THIS 21st DAY OF DECEMBER, 2011.
