Bio: Andrew Klinger brings substantial experience to the Town of Plainfield with more than twenty years of service in local and state government.  Andrew possesses particular expertise in economic development.  He began his career in public service as an economic development specialist for Allen County, Indiana and later worked for the Indiana Economic Development Council.  He has guided communities across Indiana through strategic planning processes focused on economic development.  Andrew holds three degrees from Indiana University (B.A. in Political Science and Economics, Master of Public Affairs, and Doctor of Jurisprudence) and is an avid IU fan.  Upon receiving his law degree, Andrew served as the Deputy General Counsel for the Indiana Gaming Commission and as General Counsel for the Indiana State Lottery Commission (aka Hoosier Lottery).  Andrew returned to local government as the Town Manager for Cumberland, Indiana, so he could pursue the community building efforts that he enjoyed as an economic developer.  Now serving as the Town Manager in Plainfield, Andrew works to efficiently manage town services, build community pride, and foster value-added development and infrastructure improvements for the Town.

Bio: Tony Perona served as the Communications Manager for the Town during 2012 and 2013. In 2014, he took on additional responsibilities to assist then-Town Manager Rich Carlucci. When Rich retired, Tony assumed the responsibilites of Town Manager while the Council searched for a successor to Rich. When Andrew Klinger came on board as the Town Manager, Tony returned to his former duties assisting Andrew in the administrative offices and managing the Town's communications efforts.

Before working for the Town, Tony had his own business, Tony Perona Writing, which specialized in helping businesses and government entities with communications and public relations. Tony has a bachelor's degee in engineering from Kettering University and a master's degree in business (MBA) from the University of Chicago.

Tony is also a published mystery author. In addition to novels and short stories published under his own name, he and his daughter Liz write under the name "Elizabeth Perona."
